Description
In a green state, a walnut contains vitamins: C (in terms of the
amount of this vitamin, an unripe walnut is not inferior to citrus
fruits, black currants and rose hips), B1, B2, B3, B8 (inositol), E,
PP. In addition, it contains aromatic compounds quinones, carotene,
sitosterols (phytosterols), tannins, iodine, protein, organic acids
polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic, linolenic, oleic, palmitic and
others), flavonoids (hyperoside, quercetin, kaempferol), cellulose,
iron salts, cobalt, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus
essential oil and alkaloid juglandin.
