English walnuts for sale
Chandler Walnuts are an English walnut, sometimes called Persian; specifically they are the Chandler variety. Chandler nuts are large and smooth with well-sealed shells, a pearly kernel color and mild flavor. Its kernels are easy to remove from the shell and easy to crack out into halves. So rich, buttery and full of flavor that you’d swear they were just picked yesterday. Not all Walnuts grow up the same—we harvest our California-grown walnuts when they’re at their peak so each bite is delicious.
Never bitter, dull or flaky! It’s very tasty!

We are on Facebook
This post is an answer to the many messages and inquiries we are receiving about these two our dogs. These two beautiful Great Pyrenees are only 2.5 years old. In these photos they were tiny 6 week old puppies, raised with love, kisses, sleepless nights, and dreams about the wonderful lives waiting ahead of them. We never imagined that one day they would come back to us in the condition we see now. Right now they are finally safe. They are home. And our first priority is not finding adopters — it is helping them heal. Physically and emotionally. They need time, patience, stability, good food, veterinary care, gentle voices, soft beds, and the feeling that nobody will ever hurt or abandon them again. And because of that, we no longer have the right to make a mistake in choosing their future family. We are not looking for “outside dogs.” We are not looking for people who simply want a big white dog in the yard. Our dream for them is something much deeper than that. We are looking for a home where they will live as true companions, close to their people, loved and included in everyday life. A family who understands that Great Pyrenees are deeply emotional, intelligent, sensitive souls who give endless loyalty and love to the humans they trust. Despite everything, they are still incredibly sweet and affectionate dogs. They want attention. They lean into touch. They look at people with hopeful eyes that somehow still believe humans can be kind. And honestly… that breaks my heart the most. When the time comes, we will search very carefully for the right family. Not the fastest home. Not the easiest home. The right one. ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

And to be spoiled and loved like they so deserve. This is one of my 3 babies. We absolutely love the breed and have had them for years, but you need to know them and understand them. They are truly amazing and we can't imagine life without our giant babies. I 🙏🏻your sweet angels find the most amazing forever home when they are ready. ❤️
Things are not easy for us right now. There’s a lot ahead — a lot of work, healing, patience, and care. But these two… they are absolutely incredible ❤️ So gentle, sweet, and amazingly kind despite everything they’ve been through. And honestly, it couldn’t be any other way — they are Dina and Teddy’s children. They carry so much love, softness, and true Great Pyrenees nobility in them. We look at them and know — they will learn to trust people again, they will be happy and deeply loved again. And we will do everything in our power to help them get there.❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Oh my heart! 😢🥺 so, so glad they are with Pyr peeps that love and understand them, and just want to shower them with the care they deserve.
Someone will take them and love them forever as well so they will feel secure and loved. Gorgeous
Poor babies! Your future is looking better.
They have the kindest eyes and sweetest faces. I'm so thankful they have you.
Beautiful babies. You're safe now and oh so loved. ❤️❤️
This breaks my heart. Who ever did this to them, deserves the same treatment times 10.
My heart ❤️😭😢😍💔❤️🩹
They are finally home. And honestly, I am swallowing tears looking at the condition they are in. These two have a long road ahead of them now — veterinary care, recovery, patience, stability, proper nutrition, and time to heal both physically and emotionally. We will do everything we can for them. They are safe now, and that is what matters most. I know many people are waiting for me to name their former owners publicly. Believe me, the thought crossed my mind more than once. But I will not do that. What I will say is this: to the woman who commented on my previous post that it was “none of our business” how owners treat the dogs they purchased from us, and that we “don’t know how loved they were” — well, now we do see that love very clearly. Right in front of us. And honestly, all I can say is this: may you one day be loved the same way. As breeders, we are not simply selling dogs. We are responsible for lives we brought into this world. We remember every puppy, every family, every goodbye. And yes — it absolutely is our business when one of our dogs ends up abandoned, neglected, and needing to be rebuilt from the ground up. These two deserved better. And from this moment on, they will have better. ... See MoreSee Less

Precious babies. I can’t even imagine! I even worry about who we sell lambs to! Thanks for caring! Here’s my precious girl!
It is absolutely heartbreaking to read and see how they have been treated 💔🐾 I am so glad they are back with you and safe. I hope both of them will be able to trust people again. You get unconditional love from them and they deserve that back from their family.
Makes me all the more happier that I'm about to get a puppy from you. You have heart 💓
This makes me sad, the way they look. I’m glad they’re back with you.
I would consider reporting those people to the local authorities where they reside for animal abuse/neglect. It is actually a crime.
So glad they are home with you. Praying you find the most loving family for them. Wish i could. I have Newfoundland and Standard Poodles and could never ever do this to these beautiful dogs. I had one years ago and I still miss her. Wonderful dogs People need to know about them. Read up on them before getting one please. They will love and protect you with all they have. Love them.
You are wonderful and exemplary breeders. The video you have shared is very upsetting to those of us who dearly love our GP family members. Those two deserved so much better.
As fosters for dogs whom have come from bad situations, I commend you for being good breeders and taking care of your pups. A good breeder does exactly what you are doing. It’s unfortunate that not all breeders do this for their dogs or that poor owners don’t contact the breeders sooner when they can’t or won’t care for the dogs.
Oh my ❤️ breaks for them both 💔💔. Thank God they are now back with you all, safe, to be loved and to recover for the 2.5 years of what looks like not cared for at all 😭. Many 🙏🏻🙏🏻 they heal and rest their tired heads feeling some relief tonight that they are safe. ❤️❤️
River's Bend Walnut Orchard, Tatiana and Marty, this breaks my heart💔 It is so dissappointing and disturbing that anyone would do such a thing! Research shows dogs are now being considered sentient beings. Meaning, they have the capacity to feel experiences and emotions, such as joy and pain. This highlights their emotional depth and social behavior. These magnificent creatures are family. Whoever believes anything else, should not have the privilege of bringing them into their realm, especially an LGD. We all know you will do right by these two💌 Life without a dog, is no life at all😊
Thank you for being a responsible breeder. ❤️
Thank you for taking them back.
Those poor babies. Thank goodness you have them back. Who ever had them, I hope they never have another pet.
My heart goes out to these sweet babies 🙏
Precious babies...so glad they are safely back with you!
If your vet can evaluate these poor, neglected fluffs, and put that assessment in writing, you can turn that information over to the authorities in the county where the, "owners" in question reside.
Glad they are now back with you where they will be safe, cared for and loved. Poor babies need lots of attention and nurturing. ❤️🐶❤️
So heartbreaking 💔. Prayers they will now know true love!!!!
This is probably our last update for today 🙈So… Archie’s transformation into a very expensive giant white poodle is now officially complete 😭✂️🤦♀️ Today our independent “I’ll decide myself if you’re allowed to touch my paws” boy had to make a trip to the vet. The reason — these nasty foxtails. They may look harmless, but they are actually very dangerous. Because of their shape, they literally work their way into the skin, slipping between the toes and traveling deep into tissue, where they can cause inflammation, abscesses, and serious infections. For dogs with fluffy paws, they are a real summer nightmare 😓 The vets actually recommend shaving the hair on the paws during this time of year so problems can be noticed early before the foxtails work their way deeper into the skin. We can usually check and clean the paws of all eight of our Great Pyrenees without much trouble… but Archie is truly his own special category 🤦♀️ Paw checks, nail trims, and any kind of “spa treatment” with him happen strictly under the rule of: “only with sedation and a full veterinary team involved” In the end, several of these nasty little surprises were removed from our giant bear’s paws today, his feet got shaved, and now our magnificent champion looks like a very expensive, very giant, and slightly offended white poodle 😭😂 But the most important thing is that everything is okay, there’s no infection, and our father of many children is back home. ❤️ ... Insidious foxtails! Awful what Archie had to go through. However, he is definitely handsome to show off the new summer footwear styles. Thank you for sharing.
Aww poor boy! Those might be the new in style for summering with a Great Pyrenees! My Kerby boy got those in his paws last year! Luckily he is laid back and gentle. Even after one of those nasty things entered deep between his toes he let me clip and clean his paw fluff! He was even great with the vet who had to make a small cut to get it out and clean it. He just relaxed on the table waiting to be able to give more kisses in thanks!
Poor Archie, but now he will be free from the nuisance of those pesky foxtails! He's a handsome boy and now he has fancy feet too match. 🥰
Poor baby
Please read. This is a very difficult post for us to write. Two of our Great Pyrenees, a brother and sister from Teddy and Dina’s litter, are looking for a loving home. They are 2.5 years old. Two days ago, we received a call from AKC Reunite. A male dog had been found with a microchip number that was purchased by us. Since the owner had never registered that microchip under their own name, AKC contacted us. No puppy ever leaves our home without a contract and a microchip, so I went through our records and found the owner. I spoke with them, and they assured me everything was fine — that they already knew who had the boy and were on their way to pick him up. This morning, the person who had kindly taken the boy in called us. He told us the owners had left the boy with him — and then brought his sister too. They left both dogs and handed over all of their paperwork. I will not describe the full range of emotions we are feeling. I think many of you will understand. When I asked the owners to explain, their response was simply: “We gave the dogs to him with all the papers, and now they are his.” The dogs. Not their names. Not an explanation. Not even a reason why. These two lived with their family for more than two years. And in the end, they were just “dogs.” My request for the name or phone number of the veterinary clinic where they had been seen, so we could at least get their vaccination records, has been left unanswered. That information is very important to us right now. We are deeply grateful to the kind man who took them in. He not only gave them a safe place, but also took them to a veterinary clinic. We will be bringing them back to us. Most likely, they will need to start their vaccinations over again. But that is not the worst thing. The most important thing is that they are coming back to a place where they are loved. We will be looking for a truly loving family for them. A family that already knows Great Pyrenees, or has lived with them before, and truly understands and loves this breed. And one condition is not negotiable: this brother and sister must stay together. They will not be separated. I also want to say this very clearly. When you decide to bring a puppy into your family, please take that decision with your whole heart and with full responsibility. If you have even the smallest doubt, wait. Do not do it. When you bring a puppy home, you become their whole world. You are responsible for their life, their health, their safety, and their heart. It is not always easy. But they trust you completely. Please do not betray them. Be human. And to all the moms and dads of our puppies who are reading this: please register your puppy’s microchip with AKC Reunite. It is done online and takes about five minutes. If you have any trouble, please let us know — we will help you. I will be checking. ... See MoreSee Less

Area where these pups live. I am trying to ascertain if it viable to adopt them!
Im shaking my head what's wrong eith people?
Not everyone sees them as family. Very sad. I just acquired two dogs. I'm 75 and had to consider my life expectancy. My Pyr is 5, my Border Collie is 8 or 9 and the new mama is a one year old quite tiny rescue. Since she was pregnant I also kept one of her puppies. 75. Two small dogs in my 80's is good for me but will I last long enough for them? 🤷♀️
So sad some ppl dont think taking a puppy is a permanent commitment 😪 breaks my heart I have my first GP he is 1 year had him for 6 months and I dont even like to leave him home when I go out
So frustrating! People don't understand the commitment! Would they give their child up? I am deeply angered when people relinquish older dogs, dogs that "got to big" "I'm moving" "we're having a baby", these living things are not an inconvenience-so sad!!
if i didnt already have 4 pyr, 2 of whom are 3 years old, i would jump on this, but i cant afford to feed 6 ginourmous dogs.
They don't look like 2 year olds, are gorgeous
This is so sad. They are the best dogs. I miss my Maddie. I wish I could get them but not feeling well. Always wanted your dogs. I know you will find a wonderful home for them. Love they are staying together. ❤️
Omg I'm so happy they found their way back "home " to you in the meantime. Poor babies. I have three in Massachusetts otherwise I would gladly take them and love them. They are the most amazing, most special breed! Our biggest is our 3 year old's bestie for life! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 They find a beautiful, loving home moving forward ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Oh no, depending on their disposition I would take them but they would have to be really great with children on our ranch. Really looking forward to our little boy puppy from you 💕🌷💕
People need to research the breed prior to taking one in. They’re stubborn, bark loudly & eat like a horse. They’re also extremely loving but don’t fit into every home situation. The way the 2 pups were surrendered after 2 years is totally unacceptable. 😦
I am so sorry! People do NOT understand the breed, get them as puppies because they’re cute and floofy but don’t realize their temper as adults. I have rescued 5, currently have 2 or I would apply to adopt. I think the only other breed are pitties that are abandoned as much as GPs.
My heart breaks for the dogs who so suddenly lost their home. And for you when you hear this kind of news. As breeders, we take a personal stake in every puppy we place. My contract reads “if at anytime in the future you are unable to keep this puppy, please contact us. We will coordinate finding a new home so you don’t have to worry”. I will put the word out here in the San Diego area. Quinn sends dog kisses to her cousins.
This absolutely breaks my heart. If the former owners had some sort of unforeseen, catastrophic emergency, I might be able to have a bit of empathy. But the apathetic response…I struggle to understand people. You are 100% right about owners being their family, their world. And for my husband, son, and me at least, our girl, Tessa, is our family—our world. ❤️
This is heartbreaking to read. I imagine that those two pups may be siblings of our Ruckus, who we adore by the way. Best of luck with rehoming the pair. I love dogs, people not so much.
I don’t think it’s any of your business as to what the new owners do with the dogs they purchase from you.. sometimes homes aren’t a good fit. You don’t know everything that happened in between or how much those dogs were loved or not. To write a post like this is absolutely disgusting on your part.
Very heartbreaking, totally irresponsible, and hideous on the part of those people. I'm so thankful that those precious fluffs are going to be returned to you. Praying that God sends the right family to you for them. Such beautiful puppies.

Broke my heart reading this, I can imagine how people can do this.
