English walnuts for sale
Chandler Walnuts are an English walnut, sometimes called Persian; specifically they are the Chandler variety. Chandler nuts are large and smooth with well-sealed shells, a pearly kernel color and mild flavor. Its kernels are easy to remove from the shell and easy to crack out into halves. So rich, buttery and full of flavor that you’d swear they were just picked yesterday. Not all Walnuts grow up the same—we harvest our California-grown walnuts when they’re at their peak so each bite is delicious.
Never bitter, dull or flaky! It’s very tasty!

When the thermometer hits 110°F, we do everything we can to help our dogs get through the heat as comfortably as possible. ❤️ In this photo, Teddy and Dina have found the coolest spot on the farm — our refrigerated walnut storage room. 😅 Apparently, they decided that if it’s comfortable for the walnuts, it’s comfortable for them too. Hard to argue with that logic. Many people believe that the white coat of a Great Pyrenees protects them from heat stroke and sun-related illnesses. Unfortunately, that is a very dangerous misconception. Yes, a light-colored coat reflects more sunlight than a dark one, but it does not make a dog immune to extreme heat. Great Pyrenees are giant dogs with a large body mass, and in temperatures like these they can overheat just like any other breed, sometimes even faster. Their double coat does help insulate them from both cold and heat, but at 110°F even that amazing coat cannot work miracles. Heat stroke is one of the biggest dangers during weather like this. Early signs include excessive panting, thick or sticky saliva, bright red or unusually pale gums, weakness, unsteady walking, restlessness, disorientation, vomiting, diarrhea, and in severe cases, collapse or loss of consciousness. If you notice these symptoms, move your dog to a cool area immediately, offer small amounts of water, wet the belly, groin, armpits, and paws with cool (not ice-cold) water, and contact a veterinarian as soon as possible. Ice water can actually make the situation worse. Our dogs have their own air-conditioned dog house, but with temperatures this extreme, it simply cannot keep up the way we would like. So right now, almost our entire fluffy crew is spending their days inside our house. 🙈 That means dog hair absolutely everywhere, water bowls around every corner, and zero personal space, but at least everyone is cool and comfortable. During the hottest hours of the day, they stay indoors and only go out to their territory late in the evening when the sun is going down and the temperature becomes a little more manageable. And then my second shift begins. 🤦♀️😁 Once the fluffy army heads back outside, I am left with my faithful companions — the vacuum and the mop. Judging by the weather forecast, this exciting relationship is going to continue for a while. But honestly, for these beautiful white faces, a little extra cleaning is a small price to pay. ❤️🐾 If you’re hot, your dogs are hot too. Stay safe and take good care of your four-legged family members.🫶 ... See MoreSee Less

Our Sunny Smile Lumi ❤️ Today was our girl’s turn for her routine checkup, and apparently Lumi decided she would handle all communication with the clinic staff personally. 😁 The moment we walked in, she marched straight up to the reception desk as if she had an appointment to discuss important business matters. Honestly, she looked less like a patient and more like the clinic manager making sure everyone was doing their job properly. 😂 The scale showed 130 lbs today! A true daughter of her father, our mighty Teddy — powerful, confident, and impossible to miss when she enters a room. Lumi has always had an incredible maternal instinct. She started guarding her babies long before they were born, and over the last few months she has lovingly raised twelve beautiful puppies. Gentle, patient, and endlessly devoted to her family, yet cautious and watchful around strangers — everything a Great Pyrenees should be. And if she looks a little smaller than usual in these photos, don’t be fooled. 🙈😁 Lumi is currently blowing her coat, and we have already brushed out what feels like an entire snowstorm worth of fluffy white fur. A significant portion of her size is temporarily sitting in grooming bags somewhere. 😂 No matter how big she gets, she is still our sweet girl with the biggest heart. ❤️🐾🥰 ... See MoreSee Less

I know many of you have been patiently waiting for us to finally open the listing for our Baby Green Walnuts for tinctures, preserves, and other favorite homemade recipes. 😊 First of all, I want to apologize for the delay. 🙏 The past few weeks have been completely devoted not only to our 12 Great Pyrenees puppies as they made their way to their new families, but also to caring for our adult dogs. Between veterinary appointments, health testing, routine care, and helping Bella and Buddy settle back into life with us after recently returning home, there simply weren’t enough hours in the day. ❤️ The good news is that the listing is now open! 🎉 We are already processing orders and will be shipping them out as quickly as possible. We would also like to apologize for a small increase in shipping costs. Unfortunately, this is completely out of our hands. USPS has raised shipping rates multiple times this year, and we have no choice but to adjust accordingly. Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding. It means more to us than you know and helps support our small family farm. ❤️ With love, Tatiana & Marty Rivers Bend Walnut Orchard 🌿❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Remember when I said Bella was a little too smart? 🤦♀️😁 Well, it looks like Marty and I may never see our recliner again. 😂 First, she carefully inspected the house. Then she decided the couches were acceptable. And now she has officially promoted herself to owner of the best chair in the house. 🙈 Try explaining to her that it’s actually not her seat! Judging by that expression, Bella is completely convinced that she and Buddy are the real owners of this place, and Marty and I are just lucky enough to live here. ❤️😂 After everything she’s been through, though, I think she’s earned that chair fair and square. At least sometimes… if she’ll allow one of us to sit in it. 😅 ... See MoreSee Less

The heart and personality of a Pyr. ❤️
I love how smart they are and with that cute face how can you say no to them?seriously
I love their free & easy spirit. Such gentle giants.
This is our White Boy — Ozzie. 🤍 Apparently, he decided that being white was just a little too boring. 😁 Only a few days in his new home, and Ozzie has already mastered one of the most important farm rules: if there’s mud nearby, you absolutely must investigate it personally. Preferably with all four paws. Or better yet… your entire body. 🙈 But what makes us happiest isn’t his new mud-colored fashion statement — it’s seeing how quickly he has become part of his family. He’s already meeting sheep and chickens, exploring his new world, and discovering something new every day. And the funniest part? His family says he is exactly who he has always been. Calm, thoughtful, and incredibly devoted to his people. While his friend Sadie is busy charging headfirst into every adventure she can find, Ozzie prefers to stop, observe, and carefully consider his options first. Although judging by the amount of mud on these photos, Sadie’s influence is clearly starting to work. 🤣 We love receiving updates like these and watching our sweet boy grow into exactly the dog we knew he would become. ❤️ ... 💙 Our Blue Boy is officially still Blue Boy! 😊 It seems this name suited him so perfectly that his new family decided to keep it. And honestly, we completely understand why. 😁 From the day he was born, he has been a special boy—calm, confident, thoughtful, and incredibly charming. And now it looks like he has discovered another talent: being a photo shoot superstar! 📸✨ Just look at this fluffy handsome boy. It seems he already knows exactly how to pose for the camera and steal hearts with a single look. ❤️ We are so happy to see Blue Boy growing up loved, happy, and surrounded by care. And judging by these photos, there are many more photo sessions and admiring fans in his future. 🥰 Good luck, sweet boy. Keep shining and giving your family the same love you have given all of us since your very first day. ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

What a great picture💞
When they grew up and were no longer tiny, adorable puppies, caring for them became too much of a burden for someone else. When they came back home, we started all over again. ❤️ Today our Bella and Buddy had a trip to the vet clinic for their routine checkup and booster vaccinations. 😊 While we were waiting for the doctor, I took the opportunity to snap a few photos of these two. Just look at how beautiful they are! ❤️ Buddy has gained 11 lbs since coming home, and we couldn’t be happier with that progress. His coat keeps getting thicker and more beautiful, his confidence grows every day, and he’s finally looking like the magnificent Great Pyrenees boy he was always meant to be. What amazes me most is how much they resemble their parents—not only in appearance, but in personality too. Bella is Dina all over again. Same athletic build, same speed, same sharp mind. Actually… maybe a little too sharp. 🙊😁 She’s clever, observant, and always three steps ahead of everyone else. If there’s a way to get what she wants, Bella will find it. Buddy is Teddy’s son through and through. He inherited Teddy’s powerful build, broad head, and calm presence, but most of all he inherited Teddy’s character. Teddy has always been the kind of dog who never needed to prove anything. Quiet confidence, steady temperament, kindness toward people, patience with puppies, and that special ability to make everyone around him feel safe. Buddy is exactly the same. Gentle, thoughtful, affectionate, and endlessly tolerant. The kind of dog who would rather lean against you for a hug than argue with anyone. 🥰 Looking at these two today in the clinic—healthy, happy, and smiling—it’s hard to believe how much they have overcome. We are incredibly proud of them. ❤️ www.facebook.com/100064552067888/posts/1408228151338907/?mibextid=wwXIfr fb.watch/HOshsarcub/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e ... See MoreSee Less

Such beautiful dogs.,🙏❤️❤️🥰
Beautiful!
They are beautiful!
It upsets me how people that get these beautiful creatures don't do their research on. Their breed . I hate to see how they are misunderstood for being themselves Our Millie is the light of our life sure we deal with the "fluffy snow effect "but it's worth it !
They look so much healthier and happier. You have done such a wonderful job restoring their confidence. Our Sonny sounds and looks just like his brother Buddy! Thank you for everything you are doing for these amazing animals. They deserve nothing but the best!
They are gorgeous
They are beautiful! ❤❤

They look amazing. I always have a large space in my heart for dogs like this
Awww they look so wonderful and happy! Beautiful pups!!!!❤️🩵🥰
Sweet babies! 💙💜
They are problem solvers. Ours would create a distraction in another room to draw us away from the kitchen, then race back another way to steal something off the counter.

Our Gentleman is now officially Keeper. ❤️🐾 And it looks like this little guy has no intention of wasting any time. After nearly 24 hours on the road, meeting his new family, making new friends, and settling into a completely new home, he has already claimed a spot under Margaret’s desk, taken a tour around the ranch, and even made the cover of the ranch newsletter. 😁 Keeper now calls the historic HF Bar Ranch in Wyoming home — one of the oldest guest ranches in America, nestled at the foot of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains. For generations, this ranch has been home to horses, ranch families, and loyal guardian dogs. ❤️ Of course, such a big move is a lot for a young puppy. A long journey, new people, new smells, and a completely different routine can be stressful. So a little crying during his first night was completely expected. But by 4:00 AM, our boy had apparently decided it was time to take charge and start exploring his new kingdom. 😊 Looking at these photos, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for him. Wide-open pastures, horses, other dogs, a loving family, and an entire ranch waiting to be explored. And now he has a name — Keeper. It suits him perfectly. ❤️ Be happy, sweet boy. We miss you very much, but our hearts are at peace knowing you are exactly where you belong. ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Guess who these two are? 😊 Yep, these are the same two puppies — Bella and Buddy — who recently returned to us after 2.5 years from the place where they were supposedly “loved.” 💔Although our army of 12 puppies was taking up practically every hour of every day, we did everything we could to help these two. We treated ear and skin infections, worked on improving their nutrition, helped them adjust to a completely different life, and most importantly, treated them with the best medicine of all — love, patience, and care. 🥰 They have changed so much. Not just physically, but emotionally as well. These two have the biggest hearts. Every day they trust a little more, relax a little more, and learn again what it means to simply be happy dogs. Right now, these two are patiently waiting for their next grooming session with Mom. 😁 And I still remember their very first bath. It was absolute chaos! 🙈 They had no idea what was happening. Bella would run the moment she saw a brush or comb in my hands. They simply didn’t know what grooming was. 😞 Buddy had almost no coat at all back then. His body was covered with dermatitis, and much of his beautiful Pyrenees coat was gone. But look at him now! His silky, gorgeous coat is growing back and starting to look just like his father Teddy’s and his mother Dina’s. ❤️ And the sweetest part? Now they absolutely love being groomed. Just like all of our dogs, Bella and Buddy happily lean into the brush, close their eyes, and soak up every bit of attention and affection. 🥰 They have also claimed their strategic post by the gate, carefully supervising everything happening in the house. True Great Pyrenees — always on duty! 😁🐾 Tomorrow we’re heading to the vet for another checkup. I’ll take more photos and share a detailed update after our visit. ❤️🐾 Be happy, our sweet Bella and Buddy. You’re home. 🥰 m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1408228151338907&id=100064552067888&mibextid=wwXIfr fb.watch/HHakKGUJT7/?mibextid=wwXIfr ... See MoreSee Less

I was thinking of them yesterday on how they are doing. Soooo glad they are doing great. They look so gorgeous and adjusting very well. They totally deserve all this love. ❤️ Thank you for sharing how well they are doing.
This post is everything! So much love went into bringing these souls back to tip top shape. Dogs truly are amazing with how much love they can have from coming out of a situation that gave them nothing but heartache and abuse.
Thank you for the update. I get so furious, upset and frankly, pissed off when people are so neglectful and cruel to their fur children. I am so glad they found their way home.
Happy tears for these beautiful babies!!! ❤️❤️ They look amazing and oh the love they are feeling once again 😭
After almost a full day on the road, our Black Boy has finally arrived at his new home — the beautiful HF Bar Ranch in Wyoming! ❤️🐾 And it looks like he decided not to waste any time settling in. Judging by these photos, our boy has already become part of his new big family. First, he toured the ranch with his mom Margaret, then met his new four-legged friends and quickly found himself a cozy spot among them. 🥰 From the day he was born, I called him “The Gentleman,” and he truly lived up to that nickname. Calm, thoughtful, incredibly affectionate, and always attentive to people. He was never the loudest puppy in the group, but somehow he was always right beside you, quietly offering his love, comfort, and companionship. He has a kind heart, a noble temperament, and that special quiet confidence that makes Great Pyrenees so extraordinary. ❤️ We always knew he would grow into a true gentleman, and it seems he has already begun proving us right. We hope his future is filled with endless adventures across the Wyoming hills, long ranch rides, loyal friends, and many happy years with people who already love him so much. Looking at these photos, our hearts are completely at peace. Our boy didn’t just find a new family — he found a whole new life filled with adventure, love, and happiness. Thank you, Margaret, for your huge heart and for already loving our sweet boy so much. Be happy, our Gentleman. We already miss you, but we couldn’t be happier knowing that you are exactly where you were meant to be. ❤️🐾🥰🤠🏔️🐴🐕🦺💕 ... See MoreSee Less
